FIELD 7: CRYPTO ART MUSEUM

A crypto art museum for NFT artworks for Matrixport, located on a piece of virtual land with real value.

In the spirit of the decentralized blockchains and constantly changing crypto world, we created 4 series of topological forms and spaces using generative algorithms, instead of a single fixed form. Infinite number of possible forms sharing the same parametric relations could be generated within each series. The 4 series are Seed, Origami, Galaxy and Surface.

The schemes also took advantage of three unique properties of the virtual space. Firstly, the freeze form generated from the series is envisioned to change from time to time based on the NFT artworks selected for the exhibition, adding to the constant flux of the crypto world. This would have been difficult in the physical world. Secondly, there is no gravity, making the Galaxy Series possible where the rocks do not touch each other. Finally, there is additional navigation experience through flying and teleporting.

Eventually one freeze form in the Seed Series is constructed or voxelized in crypto term.
